Nigeria international Godfrey Oboabona has finally made his much awaited debut for Turkish club Rizespor.<br /><br />The 650,000 euros signing from Sunshine Stars, Akure was named in the starting eleven by manager Riza Calimbay for the Turkish Cup second round clash against Istanbulspor on Tuesday.<br /><br />Rizespor did not concede in the game, with Florin Cernat scoring the match winner after 26 minutes in the 1 - 0 victory over Istanbulspor.<br /><br />Godfrey Oboabona, regular center back for the Nigeria selection, is certain to get plenty more chances for the Rize based outfit after his performance against the Third League outfit.<br /><br />In the Super League, he was listed in the preliminary roster in matches against Gaziantepspor and Galatasaray but failed to debut in both games.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
