Golden Eaglets Share Spoils With Korea In Suwon Tournament
Golden Eaglets coach, Emmanuel Amuneke, reckons that his side started the Suwon Continental Cup International Youth (U-17) Football Tournament on a good footing despite sharing the spoils with hosts South Korea in their opening fixture.<br /><br />Funsho Bamgboye restored parity for the world champions in the 26th minute after the Koreans got off to a dream start, taking the lead in the third minute thanks to Barcelona starlet Lee Sangheon.<br /><br />“I think it was a fair result though we would have loved to win,” said Eaglets Coach Emmanuel Amuneke in a press release published by thenff.com.<br /><br />“It was a good game for us; we created more chances in the second half though we failed to take them.”<br /><br />In their next fixture, the Nigeria Under 17s will tackle Brazil, who lead the way after beating Croatia 2 - 1.<br />
