Emmanuel Ogbole has expressed immense joy after delivering a sensational hat-trick in CS Sfaxien’s emphatic 3-0 victory over JS Kairouan on Sunday.
The Nigerian forward, who joined the Tunisian giants from Olympic Azzaweya as a free agent, needed just 59 minutes to complete his first treble at the Stade Taïeb Mehiri.
Speaking to CSS TV after the encounter, Ogbole described the moment as one of the most memorable of his life, highlighting the importance of achieving such a feat at a club of CS Sfaxien’s stature.
"Well, scoring hat-trick at a big club CS Sfaxien, this is the happiest day of my life," he said. "Because, I have always dreamt of scoring hatrick in a big club like this, so i am grateful and thankful to God."
The forward also took time to appreciate the fans, urging them to continue backing the team as they push towards their objectives this season.
"They should keep on believing in us. They should keep supporting the club, we have a mission, we have Him, and we will keep on fighting as players and the club," he added.
Despite his individual brilliance, Ogbole emphasized his team-first mentality, insisting that collective success remains the ultimate priority.
"I am not a player that is on individual performance. The most important thing is the club, to get more points, so if the goal comes we score, if it doesn't we try to win for the team," he concluded.
The Nigeria U23 international has now taken his tally to five goals in 15 league appearances, following what had been a challenging start to the campaign.
His recent resurgence has seen him score in three of his last five league outings, underlining a growing confidence in front of goal.
With his form on the rise, Ogbole will be eager to maintain his scoring streak and strengthen his case for a call-up to the senior national team in the near future.
