Emmanuel Dennis joined Danish giants Brondby earlier this week, ending his search for a new club following his release by Premier League giants Nottingham Forest last August.
The Nigeria international, who has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal, reunites with former Nottingham Forest coach Steve Cooper at Brondby.
He played 25 games with Cooper in the Nottingham Forest dugout, scoring two goals and registering three assists.
Dennis' versatility was identified as a decisive factor in the signing, with the Nigerian attacker capable of operating across the front line and providing Brondby with tactical flexibility.
Speaking on the club's newest recruit, Brondby coach Steve Cooper told Bold: "He can play on the wing and right up front at the same level, so he is flexible, but we need one or two more in attack because we want to be a team where all players are playing for a place in the starting eleven in the following game, and therefore we need more breadth in the squad."
Dennis was offered a deal after impressing in the first week of Brondby's training camp.
The 28-year-old did not feature in Brondly's Atlantic Cup clash against Major League soccer club Seattle Sounders at Estadio Algarve on Friday.
The former Watford and Club Brugge star is in England completing his residence and work permit formalities and will link up with Brondby once approved, a process the club expects to extend into February.
