Hope Akpan netted his third goal of the season as <span>Blackburn Rovers defeated Middlesbrough 2-1 at Ewood Park in the Championship on Tuesday night.<br /><br />The Nigeria national-teamer opened scoring for Rovers in the 47th minute , heading home past </span>Konstantopoulos after a cross by Grimes from the left flank.<br /><br />Akpan was delighted with Blackburn Rovers&rsquo;s second straight win in the league and hailed the performance of Danny Graham, who was in action for 90 minutes and scored the team&rsquo;s second goal.<br /><br />&ldquo;Back to back wins.
