Odion Ighalo has warned Manchester United's rivals that they have not seen the best of Bruno Fernandes because the Portuguese midfielder has not fully adapted yet to the English Premier League.
Fernandes swapped Sporting Lisbon for Manchester United in the January transfer window for an initial fee of 55 million euros and he has had an impressive start to his career at the Red Devils, scoring 3 goals and contributing 4 assists in 9 matches.
After three league games, the new Manchester United number 18 was named Premier League Player of the Month for February 2020.
Ighalo has highlighted the major attributes of the Portuguese, including his ability to dictate the play, his powerful shots from outside the box, his vision and ball handling skills.
"We have not seen the best of him yet in the Premier League because it's a new league and he's getting adapted to it.
"When Bruno finally settles down in England, you'll see what that guy can do, he's a fantastic player.
"He has vision, a player that wants the ball always, he's hungry to use the ball, he's hungry to play with the ball, he can give good passes, he can shoot, he can score free-kicks, he can score goals, he can score penalties, very intelligent.
"He's a step ahead before the ball comes to know what he wants to do."
Ighalo has benefited from Fernandes' creative play, with the former Udinese man providing the assist for his brilliant goal against LASK in the Europa League last month.
