Leicester City loanee Ahmed Musa hopes to score goals for CSKA Moscow, having fired blanks in his first three competitive matches following his return to Russia in the winter transfer market.

During that period, the Muscovites have also been struggling in offense, with only two goals scored.

''I am sure that I will start to score soon. I work, I try very hard to make this happen as soon as possible,'' Musa told bobsoccer.ru.

''The most important thing is to score the first goal, then things will go better right away. It will be very difficult matches, for us, and for our rivals.

''We expect to come out successfully (against Lyon). Ahead of the home game, I think we are well prepared for it. You need to win in your field. ''

Musa and his CSKA Moscow teammates face Lyon in the last sixteen of the Europa League on Thursday at the VEB Arena.
