The young Nigerian defender Joshua Debayo is trialing at English Premier League champions Leicester City .<br /><br />The 19-year-old, who played for Southampton last season, was part of&nbsp; a Leicester City XI squad that tackled Ilkeston in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday night. <br /><br />Joshua Debayo was named in the starting line-up as The Foxes beat their opponents 3-1 at the New Manor Ground.<br /><br />At the end of last season when Southampton submitted their retained list to the Premier League, they had announced that the teenager was offered a new contract but it is unclear if he extended his stay. <br /><br />Debayo swapped Chelsea for Southampton in the summer of 2013, then penned a professional contract few months later.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br />Photo Credit : saintsfc.co.uk<br />
