Liverpool Knocked Back In Move For Eddy Onazi

As reported by the Italian media, Lazio have turned down a proposal from Liverpool regarding the exchange of Eddy Onazi for Fabio Borini.<br /><br />Rome based sports daily <i>Corriere dello Sport</i> has written that the sporting director of the capital outfit, Igli Tare, does not have the intention of parting company with the Nigeria international in the January transfer window.<br /><br />But reports in England suggest that Liverpool would test Lazio&rsquo;s resolve to hold on to the central midfielder if they bid &euro;10 million and include Borini as makeweight in the deal to sign the youngster.<br /><br />Eddy Onazi extended his contract with Lazio until the summer of 2018 few months ago.<br /><br />He is eligible for a work permit in the United Kingdom, having played up to 75 percent of national team matches over the last two years.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
