Liverpool Striker Of Nigerian Descent Joins Crystal Palace Subject To Medical
Crystal Palace are on the brink of announcing the signing of Nigeria-eligible striker Dominic Solanke, according to various reports in the English press.
The Daily Mail has reported that Solanke has had a medical with Crystal Palace ahead of his loan move.
Only yesterday, Palace boss Roy Hodgson confirmed reports in the media that they
are interested in bringing the England U21 star on
loan from Liverpool in the January transfer window.
With 48 goals from 20 matches, Liverpool have the second best attack in the Premier League with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino part of a striking trinity with a combined 28 goals.
It is for this reason that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp continues to snub Solanke, who has yet to kick a ball in a competitive match this season for the first team.
Brighton & Hove, Huddersfield Town and Rangers were interested in signing the Chelsea Academy product before he agreed terms with Palace.
