Fulham are out of the relegation zone following their shock 2-1 win against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Monday night.
Ademola Lookman got the Cottagers first goal, Ivan Cavaleiro from the penalty spot made it two in the 38th minute before Harvey Barnes halved the deficit with five minutes to go, but Fulham hung on to secure their second win of the season in the top-flight to the relief of manager Scott Parker.
The 2017 U20 World Cup winner was named in Fulham's starting lineup along with Tosin Adarabioyo and Super Eagles fullback Ola Aina, while Kelechi Iheanacho entered the game as a substitute with twenty minutes left.
On the half-hour mark, Lookman caught Leicester City at the back with a composed finish after finding himself in a one on one situation with goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, and he celebrated his goal by paying tribute to ex-Fulham midfielder Papa Bouba Diop, who passed away few days ago at the young age of 42.
Speaking during commentary on the Premier League world feed, former Liverpool left-back Jim Beglin was impressed with Lookman's composed finish.
Beglin stated : "They've been really caught badly on the counter attack which they lost possession through Tielemans who gave it away.
"Anguissa was strong, that's not the greatest challenge in the world from Praet but the release is just perfection because Evans stood up in the hope he might just catch him but Lookman had timed it beautifully.
"And then it was a case of have you got the composure to shoot past Schmeichel and he has it on this occasion and I don't think many were expecting that and Fulham all of a sudden now have got themselves in a great position".
Lookman's other goal for Fulham since his return to the Premier League in the summer transfer window also came in an away game, against Sheffield United on October 18.
