Manchester City wonderkid Ashinme Kigbu was pleased to be part of the English U18 national team that won a mini-tournament on Monday, September 5.<br /><br />The defensive all-rounder, who had been on the radar of the Nigerian Federation,&nbsp; made his first-ever appearance for the Young Lions against Italy but was an unused substitute in yesterday&rsquo;s win over Israel, having lasted the distance last Thursday. <br /><br /><span class="body1"> </span><span class="body1">&ldquo;International break over, great to end it as tournament winners @England 👏🏾, </span><span class="body1">&rsquo;&rsquo; Kigbu tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.<br /><br />Born in Jos, Kigbu </span>moved to England at&nbsp;the age of two along with his parents, and this made him eligible to represent England. <br /><br />He had a brief spell at Manchester United before joining their bitter rivals in the 2011-2012 season. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br />
