Mikel Wants EU Passport; Midfielder Returns To Porto

Ex-Flying Eagles invitee Mikel Agu, 23, will not extend his loan agreement with Belgian First Division A team Club Brugge.<br /><br />The central midfielder spent the whole of last season on loan at Club Brugge and they were eager to offer him a new deal, but he has turned down the offer because he is hopeful of acquiring a Portuguese passport if he remains at Porto for one more year.<br /><br />&ldquo;Mikel is returning to Portugal. He needs to stay one more year in Portugal to enable him get his Portuguese Passport, &rdquo;&nbsp; a source close to Mikel said to <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>. <br /><br />&ldquo;If he had remained in Belgium for two years, he needs to start afresh before applying for a Portuguese passport.
