Voting is now open for Liverpool's Goal of the Month award for November 2025, with tri-national forward Josh Sonni-Lambie among the nominees.
In addition to being eligible for England, the highly-rated centre-forward also qualifies to represent Nigeria's Super Eagles and Spain's La Roja through his paternal grandfather and paternal grandmother respectively.
Sonni-Lambie has been described by The Guardian UK contributor Bence Bocsák as a proper modern day forward, capable of operating as a striker, a No.10, and on either wing.
His goals against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United are among the ten strikes shortlisted for the monthly accolade.
In an U18 Premier League Cup victory over the Magpies, Sonni-Lambie beat goalkeeper George Mair with a precise right-footed effort from outside the area.
Other contenders for Liverpool’s Goal of the Month award include Joe Bradshaw, Alexis Mac Allister, Alvin Ayman, Beata Olsson — who also receives a double nomination — Mia Enderby, Alexander Isak, and Cody Gakpo.
This season, Sonni-Lambie has been directly involved in 14 goals across 18 appearances in the U18 Premier League, UEFA Youth League, and EFL Trophy.
Full of flair, the 18-year-old is noted for his vision, link-up play, hold-up ability, and intelligent movement inside the penalty area.
