Former Wikki Tourists Football Club striker Shammah Tanze has opened talks with Nasarawa United over a possible move ahead of the new season.<br /><br />Negotiations have reached an advanced stage according to reports and a deal could be announced soon.<br /><br />The forward is currently a free agent following his departure from the Bauchi-based side at the end of the 2014/2015 season.<br /><br />His arrival is expected to help the club in their CAF Confederation Cup, Nigeria Professional League and Federation Cup assignments.<br /><br />Nasarawa United have been active in the transfer market with the arrival of Tayo Fabiyi, Victor Namo, Abdulrahman Bashir and a host of others.<br /><br />The Kabiru Dogo tutored Solid Miners placed 3rd at the end of last season, amassing a total of 63 points.
