The Nigeria Football Federation are in pole position to secure the international future of highly-rated Milton Keynes Dons attacking midfielder David Kasumu ahead of the English FA.<br /><br />The 16-year-old Kasumu made his competitive debut for the Dons in their thrilling 3-2 victory over Newport County in the first round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday night, lasting 61 minutes on the pitch.<br /><br />&ldquo;David Kasumu is an amazing talent, he played with us throughout last year&rsquo;s African Nations Cup in the UK, and was very instrumental , &rdquo; Team Nigeria UK boss David Doherty told <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.<br /><br />&ldquo;I was not surprised by his development at all. He is one of the lads we watch closely, we have a good relationship with him, dad and mother. <br /><br />&ldquo;Definitely he will play for Nigeria but England is an option too. &rdquo;<br /><br />Kasumu&rsquo;s creative and technical attributes have drawn comparisons to retired Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju. <br /><br />&ldquo;David is more attacking minded midfielder, player like Mutiu Adepoju.
