Nigeria Arrive In Ethiopia For World Cup Showdown

Mikel Obi and the rest of the Super Eagles squad arrived Addis Ababa on Saturday morning ahead of the World Cup play - off match against Ethiopia.<br /><br />There are just two games left to determine if Nigeria would be one of Africa<span>&rsquo;s flag-bearers </span>the Fifa World Cup in Brazil. <br /><br />And a score draw or win on Sunday at the Addis Ababa Stadium will make the journey to Brazil mathematically easier.<br /><br /><span>&ldquo;</span>We are happy that the Eagles are here for the game. They will stay at a five-star hotel Saro Mario. <br /><br /><span>&ldquo;</span>It is a standard hotel and that will be comfortable for them.<br />&nbsp;<br /><span>&ldquo;</span>We have done all that we need to do, Nigerians should pray for the team because it is not going to be an easy match.<br /><br /><span>&ldquo;</span>But I am upbeat the Eagles will come out of the game successful,&rdquo; Chris Green, a member of the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Federation, told Brila FM. <br /><br />Not only the World Cup ticket is at stake, Ethiopians will be seeking revenge after losing 2 - 0 to Nigeria at the 2013 African Cup of Nations.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
