Nigeria Beats Sweden 3 - 0, Advances To Final
The Golden Eaglets defeated Sweden 3 - 0 in the semi - finals of the Fifa Under 17 World Cup in Dubai on Tuesday evening.<br /><br />The Scandinavians started the game brightly but it was Nigeria who got the opener in the 21st minute through Taiwo Awoniyi, deputizing for the injured Isaac Success. <br /><br />Nigeria found the back of the net again again but the lenient referee incorrectly ruled that a player was offside.<br /><br />BK Hacken youngster Carlos Strandberg almost got an equalizer for the Swedes in the 76th minute but his volley was miraculously saved by Alampasu.<br /><br />And four minutes later, Nigerians extended their lead through Samuel Okon and moments later Chidera Ezeh settled the scoreline with a simple finish.<br /><br />Nigeria will now contest the final with Mexico on Friday.
