Nigeria, Burundi Wear Black Armbands In Honour Of Keshi, Amodu

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has approved a request by the Nigeria Football Federation for a one minute silence and black armbands in Saturday<span>&rsquo;s Africa U20 Nations Cup qualifier between the Flying Eagles and Burundi.<br /><br />The two teams will wear black armbands as a mark of respect for two iconic African coaches Stephen Keshi and Amodu Shuaibu who lost their lives this week in Benin City. <br /><br />Former Nigeria skipper Stephen Keshi died on Wednesday morning as a result of a suspected heart attack, while Amodu died in his sleep on Saturday after complaining of chest pains on Friday night.<br /><br />The winner over two legs </span><span>will tackle Sudan in the third round of the qualifiers.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br /></span><span class="&quot;body1&quot;">Photo Credit : Twitter.com</span>
