Nigeria national women's football team coach, Thomas Dennerby, has revealed the exact date he will announce his final roster for the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations in Ghana.
The Nigeria Football Federation announced a 48-woman provisional roster earlier in the week but twenty seven of the invited players will be axed from the roster in the coming days, according to the Swedish tactician.
''First of all we just invited some active players, like 29 players that will be in the first camp that ends October 28, after that we will have a good mix of some of the professional players coming in together with the best part of the domestic squad,'' Dennerby said.
''Finally on the first of November, we will cut the squad and have the final AWCON squad, twenty-one players that will go to the tournament.
''From now on it is hard work to find out which are the best ones to bring success to the Super Falcons of Nigeria team.''
The top three teams of the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations will qualify for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France.
