The Nigeria Football Federation have announced a provisional list of 31 players called up for next month's international friendly against Cameroon in Austria.

Four uncapped players namely Enyimba's John Noble, CD Feirense's Abraham Marcus, Almeria's Umar Sadiq and Lorient's Terem Moffi are in contention to make their debuts having made the squad list.

Four goalkeepers, nine defenders, five midfielders and thirteen players classed as strikers have been named on the provisional roster.

Premier League quintet Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi (both Leicester City), Ola Aina (Fulham), Alex Iwobi (Everton) and Semi Ajayi were named in the extended squad along with Glasgow Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo and Watford center back William Troost-Ekong.

Crotone striker Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo has been rewarded for his fine form as he has been included on the roster, while Heartland goalie Ikechukwu Ezenwa is back in the frame after his omission from the AFCON qualifiers in March.

The provisional list of 31 will be whittled down to 23 before the Super Eagles fly to Vienna for the clash with the five-time African champions.

Nigeria will face the Indomitable Lions on  Friday, 4th June 2021 at the Wiener Neustadt in the Austrian capital, Vienna starting from 8.30pm Austria time.
