Nigerian Talent Linked With Move To Famous Dutch Club Ajax
An unnamed Nigerian teenager is being linked with a transfer to Eredivisie powerhouse Ajax Amsterdam ahead of the start of the January transfer window.<br /><br />ESPN reported earlier this month that promising Mexican attacking midfielder Diego Said Sanchez Palma will be unveiled by Ajax along with players from Portugal, Brazil, Nigeria, Japan and Australia.<br /><br />It is envisaged that the mysterious Nigerian will first play for the U19s squad of the capital outfit if he is offered a contract. <br /><br />From 1993- 1996, retired Nigeria international Nwankwo Kanu represented Ajax, with whom he won the Champions League 21 years ago.<br /><br />Other Nigerian players who have represented the famous Dutch club include Finidi George, Sunday Oliseh, Tijani Babangida, Pius Ikedia and Ogbonna Kanu.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : ajaxfanzone.nl<br />
