The German side took the lead on two occassions, only for Manchester United to reply with goals in each half.
Former Ajax Amsterdam starlet Dillon Hoogewerf started for United while Shola Shoretire and Sotona began the game on the bench.
Twenty three minutes into the first half, Hoogewerf was replaced and it is feared the striker may have suffered an injury again.
Hertha Berlin went in front on 34 minutes before Ramazani scored to make it 1-1 in the 41st minute.
Sotona and Shoretire came on as substitutes in the 63rd minute and it was the former that grabbed an equaliser 15 minutes later, slotting past the Hertha goalkeeper after a great run.
The Red Devils Academy arranged the friendly game to ensure the players gain valuable experience against European opposition.
