Nigerian Wonderkid Josh Maja Bags Brace As Sunderland Hammer Burton Albion

Sunderland are through to the fourth round of the prestigious FA Youth Cup after a 4-1 rout of Burton Albion&nbsp; at Eppleton CW on Thursday night.<br /><br />Young Black Cats manager Elliott Dickman named two players of Nigerian descent in his starting XI - Josh Maja and Joel Asoro - just twenty four hours after they were on the bench for the first team in the Premier League clash vs Chelsea.<br /><br />Josh Maja&rsquo;s offensive qualities was a feature of the opening half and he leveled matters on 23 minutes after the opponents had taken the lead in the third minute. <br /><br />Sweden U21 international Joel Asoro&rsquo;s shot was parried by goalkeeper Hawkins but Maja fired home the rebound.<br /><br />On 74 minutes, the Nigerian youngster gave Sunderland a three-goal cushion, controlling the ball before netting his second of the game. <br /><br />Asoro was replaced with 14 minutes left on the clock and Maja played the full game. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel&nbsp; <br /><br /><br />Photo Credit : kinetic-foundation.org.uk<br /><br />
