Ex-Seattle Sounders star Obafemi Martins will sport the number 17 shirt at <span>Shanghai Greenland Shenhua, the </span>Chinese Super League outfit announced during his presentation to the media and fans on Friday.<br /><br />The jersey was last worn by Australia star Tim Cahill, who recently departed the club to sign for <span>Hangzhou Greentown.<br /><br />Obafemi Martins has refused to set himself a goal target for the upcoming season but has promised to assist </span><span>Shanghai Greenland Shenhua achieve their goals.<br /><br /></span>&ldquo;One can not say the exact number&nbsp; (of goals), but hopefully plenty, &rdquo; Obafemi Martins said during his unveiling.<br /><br />&ldquo;I will try to help the team reach their goals and wish the team and coaches can have a better luck in the new season.<br /><br />&ldquo;Shanghai is a beautiful city, I feel it is very good, so I can not wait to begin this journey, I will do my best to help the team.&rdquo;<br /><br />Martins has penned a 1+1 year contract with <span>Shanghai Greenland Shenhua and will earn $6.6 million net in the </span>first year of his deal.<br /><span></span>
