Stoke City have announced that Peter Odemwingie has not been retained by the club following the conclusion of the 2015-2016 season. <br /><br />The Potters stated on their official website that the Nigeria national-teamer will not be offered a new contract when the previous agreement between club and player runs out on June 30, 2016.<br /><br />Odemwingie joined Stoke City from Cardiff City in January 2014 and was credited with 5 goals in 31 appearances during the two and a half years he spent at the the Bet365 Stadium.<br /><br />The 34-year-old started off his professional career with hometown club Bendel Insurance, followed by spells with La Louvi&egrave;re, Lille, Lokomotiv Moscow and West Brom.<br /><br />He was loaned out to Championship side Bristol City in March 2016.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
