Through a publication on their official website, Northern Ireland Football League Irish Premiership side Warrenpoint Town have announced the signing of Jared Thompson from Chelsea.
The agreement between both clubs will see the 19-year-old remain on loan in Northern Ireland until the end of the season.
Thompson has yet to figure for Chelsea's Development squad in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy this term but was on the bench against Arsenal, West Ham and Leicester City U23 teams as well as AFC Wimbledon.
He secured his first taste of first team football after joining Chippenham Town in the National League South on loan for the 2017-18 campaign, playing 44 matches and posting 11 shutouts.
The goalkeeper joined Chelsea as an Under 13 from Swindon Town, and has caps for England's U16, U17 and U18 national teams.
