<font size="3">Following their demotion to the third&nbsp; - tier of English football, Millwall have embarked on cost cutting measure by releasing several first team players. <br /><br />Unfortunately, Nigeria international Danny Shittu was one of those affected, the official website of the London club announced on Thursday.<br /><br />But the good news is that Anglo - Nigerian Fred Onyedinma was one of the 20 players retained at The Den ahead of the 2015 - 2016 campaign.<br /><br />Experienced defender Danny Shittu spent three years at Millwall during which he recorded 69 appearances in the Championship scoring 2 goals.<br /><br />A product of Norwich City, he had spells with Queens Park Rangers, Watford and Blackpool amongst others before his move to Millwall.<br /><br />Photo Credit : millwallfc.co.uk</font><br />
