Through a statement on their official website, Major League Soccer outfit Los Angeles Football Club have announced the signing of Nigerian-born striker Monday Bassey Etim ahead of the 2018 season.
The 18-year-old has been farmed out on loan to affiliate side Orange County SC for the rest of the 2017 season.
Etim represented Montverde Academy in Florida before he was snapped up by Los Angeles Football Club.
Before moving to America, the youngster used to play for Kadji Sports Academy in Cameroon, the club ex-Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o started off his career before transferring to Real Madrid.
Monday Bassey Etim is the second player signed by Los Angeles Football Club.
