Per a statement on its official website, Bundesliga club Schalke 04 has announced that it has reached an agreement with rivals Bayer Leverkusen over the transfer of Germany international Sidney Sam, 25.<br /><br />The four - year contract will start running with effect from July 1, 2014, meaning he will complete this season at Bayer Leverkusen before heading to the Royal Blues.<br /><br />&ldquo;Sidney Sam has shown how much impetus he can offer in attack, and not just with his impressive performances this season.<br /><br />&ldquo;He&rsquo;s extremely versatile, very ambitious and wants to achieve big things with Schalke.
