Welsh team Cardiff City have confirmed the signing of Anglo-Nigeria midfielder Tom Adeyemi from Birmingham City.<br /><br />The 22-year-old midfielder signed a three year contract today on Thursday in the City of Cardiff after passing a medical.<br /><br />Adeyemi who demanded for transfer request from Birmingham City&nbsp; has seen his dream come through.<br /><br />Speaking with the club&rsquo;s official website Adeyemi said, <span style="" class="notranslate">&ldquo;</span>From the outside looking in, Cardiff City has a very strong squad that will challenge for a quick return to Premier League this season.<br /><br /><span style="" class="notranslate">&ldquo;</span>I took no persuading from manager to come here. It was a fantastic opportunity for me to work with somebody like him and to play for a club like Cardiff City. <br /><br /><span style="" class="notranslate">&ldquo;</span>I&rsquo;m very pleased that everything has been completed ahead of the season and now I can focus on fighting for a place in the side and helping us get the season off to great start.&rdquo;<br /><br />Cardiff City would begin their Championship campaign on Friday away to Blackburn Rovers.<br /><br />Photo Credit : Norwich City<br />
