Per a statement on the official webpage, Dutch club VVV Venlo have announced that they have mutually terminated the agreement binding them with Nigeria international Uche Nwofor. <br /><br />The 22 - year - old officially departed the Limburg based side on September 1, meaning he can sign for a new club despite the end of the transfer market.<br /><br />During Uche Nwofor&rsquo;s three - year stay at the Pride of the South, he clocked up 14 goals in 62 appearances in the league alone.<br /><br />He spent last season on loan at top division <span class="st">Heerenveen, but the club failed to exercise the option to buy him in June.<br /><br />His contract with VVV Venlo would have expired at the end of this season, assuming he did not decide to seek pastures new.<br /> </span>
