Teenage Nigeria-eligible midfielder Chuks Okoli is among the nominees for Crystal Palace's Goal of the Month award for January 2026.
The Eagles have unveiled a shortlist of six strikes from across their men’s, women’s and academy sides and asked fans to vote for their favourite.
Okoli has been nominated for his brilliant finish against West Brom in the U18 Premier League on January 17, even though the goal counted for nothing, with Palace losing 3-1 to the Baggies.
Trailing by three goals, Okoli pulled one back for Palace in stoppage time, his deflected effort finding the net to give the hosts a deserved consolation.
In his bid to win the monthly accolade, the versatile midfielder faces competition from Yéremy Pino, Hayley Ladd, Benji Casey, Molly-Mae Sharpe and Zach Marsh.
Okoli will be hoping to emulate Nigeria international Christantus Uche, who won Palace’s December Goal of the Month for his superb effort against KuPS Kuopio in the UEFA Conference League.
A versatile midfielder who has been at Crystal Palace since the age of seven, Okoli rose through the academy ranks before signing a scholarship deal with the club ahead of the 2024–25 season.
