Plateau United coach Mansur Abdullahi has undergone successful eye surgery at the Makka Specialist Eye Hospital in Kano <br /><br />The hospital is owned by Al Basar International Foundation by Saudi Arabians with experienced doctors from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. <br /><br />The former Flamingoes assistant coach had the procedure some days back in order to correct some issues.<br /><br />According to the coach, he is in steady condition in readiness for the new Nigeria Professional Football League season. <br /><br />&ldquo;On 4th December 2009, I was assaulted in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State,&rdquo; Mansur Abdullahi said.<br /><br />&ldquo;When I was contracted as the head coach of Bayelsa Queens some players were already dropped. <br /><br />&ldquo;One of them (Dorcas Ariba) approached me that I should sign her but I told her that I didn<span class=\"body1\">&rsquo;</span>t have the power to do that but the management. She came for about three times.<br /><br />&ldquo;She went ahead and engaged the services of thugs under the leadership of one Happy Boy. <br /><br />&ldquo;They really assaulted me and the management of the club dumped me despite the fact that were owing me the sum of&nbsp; =N=3,280,200 which they are yet to pay till date.<br /><br />&ldquo;You know there was detachment on the retinal of the eye. Also blood covered the vision of the eye. So I was not seeing with the eye completely and that is went I go for the surgery. <br /><br />&ldquo;I<span class=\"body1\">&rsquo;</span>m using this medium to thank everyone that stood by me before, during and after the surgery. I pray that Almighty Allah continue to guide them.&rdquo;<br /><br />The coach is expected to undergo another minor surgery by June 2016.
