Quad-national forward Harriman-Annous finishes runner-up in Arsenal Goal of the Month

Quad-national forward Andre Harriman-Annous missed out on Arsenal's Goal of the Month for February 2026, with the club confirming on Monday that Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres claimed the accolade for his stunning strike against Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby.

Harriman-Annous was nominated for his brilliant effort against Reading U21s in a Premier League 2 game on February 23.

The English-Ghanaian-Nigerian-Lebanese forward doubled the Gunners' lead, cutting inside onto his right foot and curling a sublime finish into the far corner.

Gyökeres topped the poll with 36% of the vote, while Harriman-Annous finished second with 14%, and Martin Zubimendi’s goal against Sunderland came third with 13%.

Other nominees for Goal of the Month included Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Evan Mooney, Theo Julienne, Olivia Smith, Frida Maanum and Kim Little.

Harriman-Annous signed his first professional contract with the Gunners in August 2025 and has since made his debuts in both the Carabao Cup and Champions League.

The 18-year-old was an unused substitute in Arsenal's most recent fixture, a 2-1 win over Mansfield Town in the FA Cup.
