The Super Eagles players that were in action against Egypt, including the three substitutes, in an African Cup of Nations qualifying fixture on Friday were worth € 61.675 million.

SC Olhanense wing-back Stanley Amuzie, who many pundits regarded as the weakest link against the Pharaohs, was ranked the least expensive player in the Nigeria roster, with a market value of €25,000, per transfermarkt.

New Clube Desportivo de Feirense acquisition Oghenekaro Etebo was not assigned a market value but allnigeriasoccer.com’s transfer market expert rated him at €500,000.

Chelsea loanee Victor Moses, who came off the bench in the second half, came in fourth, with a market value of €7.5 million, while the most expensive defender in the squad is Efe Ambrose of Celtic, who is worth €2.5 million.
