Faith Friday Obilor, Kennedy Nwanganga and Philip Njoku started Inter Turku’s 1-0 win over HIFK at the Veritas Stadion. Former Racing Genk frontman Nwanganga netted the game-winner on the hour mark.
Obilor and Nwanganga played the entirety of the game while Njoku was replaced in the 78th minute.
Still in Finland, Yero Bello did not take part in Ilves’s 1-0 victory over VPS as expected. He was released by Ilves at the end of last month.
In the J League 2, Japan U23 international Ado Onaiwu was an unused substitute as JEF United settled for a 2-2 draw against Tokyo Verdy.
