Watford Wonderkid Labelled The Nigerian Messi Chooses To Represent Nigeria Rather Than England
Watford teenage sensation Ogo Obi has pledged his international future to Nigeria though he is eligible to represent the youth teams of England, according to Team Nigeria UK official David Doherty.

The 18-year-old made the back pages in Nigeria two years ago when he underwent trials at Premier League giants Manchester United, and scored three goals in four appearances for the Old Trafford side at the Milk Cup tournament .

“Ogo Obi is one hundred percent available for Nigeria and is a good target for the current youth teams without any doubt, ” Doherty told allnigeriasoccer.com.

“Obi is an amazing talent, him and David Ajiboye are top talents for Nigeria big time. David can play for the U20s guaranteed.”

Ogo Obi has been labeled the Nigerian Messi by the local media as he has an abundance of skills.

He struggled with injuries during the 2015-2016 season but still managed to score eight goals for the Hornets U18s squad.
