Exclusive: Nigeria U23s Star Obanor Passes Greuther Furth Medical, Offered Five-Year Deal By German Club

As exclusively revealed by allnigeriasoccer.com three days ago, Nigeria U23 international Erhun Obanor is on the brink of being unveiled by a German 2 Bundesliga club.
The Mountain of Fire stopper has been given the all-clear to sign a contract with SpVgg Greuther Fürth after passing a medical examination on Friday morning.
SpVgg Greuther Fürth had offered Obanor a five-year contract following a successful trial, but the player and his representatives opted against signing a multi-year deal, and he will pen a 3+2 year contract instead.
Based on the clause Greuther Fürth inserted into his contract, the Dream Team VI star can extend the agreement for two more seasons even before the end of the 2018-2019 season.
There is no going back regarding Obanor’s trip to Atlanta to link up with Nigeria’s Olympic squad as from Saturday as he was issued a ten-day visa, which should expire in the next few days.
