Wolves Striker Bright Enobakhare Outshines Ikeme, Cork City Talent Ogbene In Ireland
Published: July 19, 2016Bright Enobakhare was at his imperious best as Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Cork City 2-1 in a pre-season friendly on Monday night.
The Nigerian-born striker proved a handful for the defenders and capped off a fine display with a goal in the 62nd minute.
Three players of Nigerian descent featured in the contest for Wolves - Carl Ikeme, Odoffin and Enobakhare - while the teenage midfielder Chiedozie Ogbene entered into the fray for the Republic of Ireland team a minute after the opponents doubled their advantage.
After four minutes, Wolves went in front with Niall Ennis hammering home from close range after he was teed up by Bright Enobakhare.
Last season, Bright made nine appearances for the first team of the Molineux Stadium outfit and could cement his place in the first team if he impresses manager Kenny Jackett at pre-season.
