Nigerian Midfielder Ovie Ejaria Named In Liverpool Squad For USA Tour
Published: July 21, 2016Former Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria was among the players that traveled with the Liverpool squad to the United States, where they will continue their preparations for the new season.
There had been fears that the central midfielder will not be on the plane, with manager Jürgen Klopp suggesting that academic commitments may prevent him from making the roster.
Few hours after helping the Reds secure a 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town, Ejaria and the rest of the nominated players flew to San Jose.
Liverpool face Chelsea in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday July 27 at the Rose Bowl, before squaring off against AC Milan three days later, then tackle AS Roma in a friendly on August 1 in St. Louis.
