Nigeria Number 1 Daniel Akpeyi Lands In Atlanta To Resume Training
Published: July 24, 2016Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Chippa United glovesman Daniel Akpeyi will resume training with the Nigeria U23 National Team as from Sunday, July 24.
Akpeyi, 29, boarded a plane bound for Atlanta, United States from Johannesburg around 1800 hours on Saturday and will arrive at the Dream Team VI training camp this morning.
The former Warri Wolves star was amongst the first set of players that hit the camp in the United States but had to return to South Africa after the friendly against Mexico for pre-season training with Chippa United.
He has been included in Nigeria’s 18-man squad for the Olympic Games as one of the two over-aged players.
