Etebo Doubtful For Nigeria U23s Last Friendly; Mikel Yet To Show Up In Atlanta
Oghenekaro Etebo faces a race against time to join the Dream Team VI squad in Atlanta, United States ahead of their final friendly before the Olympic Games opener against Japan, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

The CD Feirense attacking midfielder was supposed to fly to the United States from Portugal on Sunday, July 24, but the unavailability of flights affected his itinerary.

Barring any last-minute change, Etebo will depart Portugal on Tuesday as the only available flight from his base to Atlanta is on that day.

A Nigeria U23s team official has claimed that the friendly against Honduras earlier scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 27 has been called off and the team will tackle a local side instead.

Meanwhile, Erhun Obanor will depart Atlanta today and will arrive in Nigeria in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

As at 1400 hours Nigerian time, Obi Mikel (Chelsea), Daniel Akpeyi (Chippa United), Kingsley Madu (AS Trencin) and William Troost-Ekong (FKH) have yet to show up in camp.
