Oduwa Scores Penalty, Oteh Makes Cameo As Spurs Beat Standard Liege

On Sunday morning, Ugo Ehiogu’s side faced Standard Liege in its last game of the tourney and emerged victorious after a penalty shoot-out, with Nathan Oduwa scoring one of the spot kicks.
In the game which lasted for an hour, the Nigeria U23 international went the distance, while the highly-rated teenage striker Aramide Oteh came off the bench in the 58th minute.
Christian Maghoma gave Spurs the lead in the 22nd minute before Hugo Cuypers brought the Belgian team level four minutes later.
Nathan Oduwa, a former England youth international, trained with Nigeria’s Olympic team this summer, but was dropped when coach Samson Siasia announced a 35-man provisional squad.
