Update 1100 Hours : Nigeria U23s Off To The Airport, Plane To Take Off 1 PM

The Nigeria U23s are in a race against time to arrive in Manaus ahead of Thursday evening’s showdown against Japan in their opener at the 2016 Olympic Games, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
Reliable sources have informed this website that the Delta Airline flight will depart the United States at 0800 hours (1 pm in Nigeria), and players and officials were about leaving for the airport as at 0608 hours local time.
Last night, the Dream Team VI had been scheduled to fly out to Brazil but complained that the aircraft was too small, hence the trip was cancelled.
Their luggage was loaded into the the Delta Airline cart on Wednesday evening before they returned to the hotel.
The 1996 Olympic champions square off against Japan at the Amazônia Arena, Manaus, starting from 2100 hours local time.
