Victor Moses, Ola Aina Come Off Bench As Chelsea End Pre-Season In Style
Published: August 07, 2016
Chelsea ended their pre-season in style, beating Werder Bremen 4-2 at the Weserstadion (Bremen) on Sunday afternoon.
New boss Antonio Conte dropped a strong hint of his starting line-up for his side’s Premier League opener, with the likes of Kante, Terry, Pedro and Ivanoviä† stepping out onto the pitch from the beginning.
Nigerian pair Victor Moses and Ola Aina who have started majority of the Blues warmup games were amongst the substitutes, and the Super Eagles star came off the bench in the 70th minute, while the young defender was introduced with fifteen minutes remaining.
Goals from Hazard, Oscar, Diego Costa and Pedro sealed a 4-2 victory for the Premier League team.
Victor Moses has spent the last three seasons on loan at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham, and it remains to be seen if he would remain at Stamford Bridge at the close of the transfer window.
The 18-year-old Ola Aina is tipped to make his first-team bow in the new season, that is if he is not loaned out or sold.
