Revealed : Denmark Spied On Nigeria U23 Players Against Japan And Sweden
Denmark spied on Nigerian U23 players ahead of the quarterfinal clash between both countries in Salvador on Saturday, August 13.

Odense Boldklub chief scout Uffe Pedersen was at the Arena da Amazônia, Manaus when the Dream Team tackled Japan and Sweden, and coach Niels Frederiksen expects him to give a lowdown on the African champions.

Two months ago, the Scandinavians beat Nigeria 6-2 at the Suwon Invitational Tournament, but Frederiksen is aware it will be a different ball game altogether at the Olympics as the Nigerians have reinforced their squad.

“It is a very different team, they have than they were two months ago, Pedersen was quoted as saying by bold.dk.

We have had Uffe Pedersen over to Nigeria’s first two matches, so now we need some input from him and find out how we go about it.

But that’s a typical African team, so it was at least when we met them in South Korea. But they are reinforced, if not significantly enhanced, compared to when we met them then.

Emil Larsen netted a hat-trick in Denmark’s win over Nigeria during the Suwon tourney in South Korea.
