Iheanacho And Efe Face Off As Nigerian Stars Know Champions League Opponents

Nigerian stars now know which teams they will face in the group stage of the Champions League following the group stage draw that took place in Monaco on Thursday.
Alex Iwobi and Chuba Akpom’s Arsenal are in Group A alongside PSG, Basel and Ludogorets.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Tosin Adarabioyo will be hoping to be involved when Manchester City trade tackles with Barcelona, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Efe Ambrose’s Celtic in Group C.
German champions Bayern Munich square off against Atlético Madrid, PSV and Rostov in Group D. Austria star David Alaba is on the books of the Bundesliga side.
Monaco’s opponents in a very balanced Group E are CSKA Moscow, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayer Leverkusen.
Super Eagles fullback Elderson Echiejile plays for the Ligue 1 side while Josh Onomah and Dele Alli represent the English club.
Group G contains Ahmed Musa and Layton Ndukwu’s Leicester City, Chidozie Awaziem’s Porto, Club Brugge and Danish powerhouse FC Copenhagen.
The match days for the group stages are scheduled to start in September and end in December, with the top two teams in each group progressing to the last 16.
