Nigerian Defender Signs New Contract With Chelsea Until 2019
Published: August 31, 2016Chelsea have announced via their official webpage that Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo has penned a one-year contract extension with the Premier League club.
Thus, the central defender will now remain on the books of the Stamford Bridge outfit until the summer of 2019, if both parties honour the agreement.
The Blues have also informed that Omeruo has completed his loan move to Turkish Super Lig newcomers Alanyaspor.
The 22-year-old previously represented ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough and Kasimpasa on loan.
Kenneth Omeruo joined Chelsea from Standard Liege (Belgium) in January 2012 .
