Nigerian Superstar Kanu Shows He Still Has The Midas Touch With Hat-Trick For Arsenal

Nwankwo Kanu netted a hat-trick as Arsenal Legends beat AC Milan Glorie 4-2 in a thrilling game at Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Before the game, the retired Nigeria international had promised the Gunners faithful that he would score three goals and he delivered on his promise.
On 27 minutes, Kanu gave Arsenal the lead after coming on as a substitute but the lead lasted only 12 minutes, with Vieri firing home a rebound after David Seaman had produced a great save.
In the second half, specifically the 72nd minute, the lanky forward restored Arsenal’s lead before securing his hat-trick from the spot with nine minutes remaining.
It became 4-1 when Freddie Ljungberg crossed for Robert Pires to score, but Vieri reduced the deficit in the 89th minute .
The game was staged to help to provide £1 million to the Arsenal Foundation.
